OECD: Biotrack database of field trials with genetically modified organisms.

BioExplorer: listing of databases on genomics and biotechnology research data.

NCBI: creates public databases, conducts research in computational biology, develops software tools for analyzing genome data, and disseminates biomedical information

Biotechnology Information Center: listing of sources to agriculure related biotechnology patents and new technologies.

Entrez: the integrated, text-based search and retrieval system used at NCBI for the major databases, including PubMed, Nucleotide and Protein Sequences, Protein Structures, Complete Genomes, Taxonomy, and others.

PubMed: a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine that includes over 16 million citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s. PubMed includes links to full text articles and other related resources.

BMLFUW: Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management. Provides links to information on use of biofuels, renewable biomaterials, non-food agriculture and forestry in Austria. Includes information on organic farming, genetic engineering, rural development and renewable resources as well as EU agricultural reform.

UNIDO: Agro-industry. Support and advice to official and private-sector decision-making bodies in various sub-sectors (food, leather, textiles, wood and agro-machinery) on techno-economic development options for strengthening the agro-industrial sector.

Agrriculture and Food Development Authority: Carries out training, research and consultancy in agriculture, as the national agriculture and food development authority, in many areas including energy crops.

ASSOBIOTEC: Italian Association for the Development of Biotechnology, with link to companies involved in non-food agriculture.

Latvian Science on the Net: A listing of links to Latvian research into many aspects of non-food agriculture, renewable biomaterials and forestry.

TAIR: Arabidopsis Information Resource. Collects information and maintains a database of genetic and molecular biology data for Arabidopsis thaliana, a widely used model plant. TAIR is produced by the Carnegie Institution of Washington Department of Plant Biology, Stanford, California, and the National Center for Genome Resources (NCGR), Santa Fe, New Mexico. Funding is provided by the National Science Foundation, USA.

APPEAR: is a communication action to increase public awareness of European medical research projects. The project consortium is currently supporting four running LifeScience projects with professional customized communication strategies, including PR activities, production and distribution of audiovisual content.
